For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Business Analyst. Core Knowledge & Skills: Uses advanced analytical tools to gather and document requirements, build data models, and create reports and dashboards. Work & Complexity: Manages moderately complex projects, analyzes business needs, and proposes process improvements. Quality & Independence: Conducts thorough analysis, integrates feedback, and makes decisions within project scope. Teamwork & Communication: Engages stakeholders, collaborates across functions, and helps resolve team conflicts. Consulting & Engagement: Offers technical advice, identifies efficiency opportunities, and evaluates solution options. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Google Cloud Business Analyst. Project Summary AIS is supporting federal customer with a program focused on architecture and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Deep knowledge and analysis experience in a range of digital/web services and solutions where open source, cloud technologies and agile development methodologies have been applied. Ability to rationalize complex information to make it understandable for others to work, and ability to interrogate reported information and challenge sources where inconsistencies are found. Analyze propositions and assess decision-making factors such as strategic alignment, cost/benefit, and risk. Works closely with the Product Manager to define a product approach to meet the specified user need. May oversee aspects such as budget and resource requirements. Help in defining predicted user and financial benefit can be realized. Make recommendations for action against the analysis done Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity Required For This Opportunity Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience). 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT or cloud-based solutions. Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms, with demonstrated exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architectures. Active Secret clearance or higher is required. One or more active cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including requirements elicitation, user story development, and stakeholder collaboration. Nice to Have Skills Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems. At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $74,000-$113,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
