Global Risk Management, Sr. Director

About The Role:

As a CBRE Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), you will assist the global management and advancement of the company's ERM program. This role is responsible for overseeing the foundational elements of the ERM framework, driving program consistency across business units, and building out measurement capabilities to assess and supervise key risks.

This position plays a key role in managing the central program design, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of risk governance practices, helping ensure enterprise risks are effectively identified, assessed, and communicated.

What You'll Do:
• Coordinate the global program structure for enterprise risk management, encompassing core frameworks, standards, and governance processes.
• Lead the design and implementation of risk measurement tools, including risk scoring, key risk indicators (KRIs), and performance metrics (KPIs).
• Support enterprise-wide risk assessments and reporting to executive leadership and governance bodies.
• Complete operational strategies, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Act as a key business partner to put in place initiatives and start process improvements.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to align risk priorities with strategic and operational goals.
• Coordinate with business units to ensure consistent and effective application of ERM practices.
• Drive ongoing enhancement of ERM methodologies, tools, and program maturity.
• Apply deep knowledge of multiple disciplines, broad industry knowledge, and commercial awareness. Drive financial and functional performance within disciplines and across business.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Negotiate with senior management, customers, and external parties of divergent interests to reach an agreement of strategic importance while being guided by the business segment and the organization's functional strategy.
• Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.
• Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
• Expert math skills. Ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial- related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Global Risk Management, Sr. Director position is $160,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Global Risk Management, Sr. Director position is $290,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
