Global Product Manager - Electrostatics
Position SummaryWe are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Manager specializing in electrostatic application in Finishing or Coatings industry. This global role is responsible for leading the development, optimization, and lifecycle management of our Electrostatics product portfolio. This role will drive multigenerational product strategies, align cross-functional teams, and translate customer insights into innovative electrostatic solutions that deliver market growth, share gain and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Lifecycle ManagementLead strategic, multigenerational product planning, managing performance across the full product lifecycle from concept through sunsetDevelop and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps aligned with market trends, electrostatic technology advancements, and business objectivesManage key product portfolios, ensuring alignment with technical feasibility and financial performanceStreamline and rationalize SKU portfolios to improve cost efficiency, reduce complexity, and enhance profitabilityMarket & Customer FocusTranslate customer needs and Voice of Customer (VOC) insights into actionable product features and innovations specific to electrostatic applicationsIncorporate global VOC feedback using Stage Gate processes to guide development decisionsDevelop a deep understanding of electrostatic product lines, applications, and customer needs across industriesCollaborate with sales & marketing teams to analyze competitive landscapes and refine differentiated value propositionsProduct Development & InnovationDrive electrostatic product development initiatives in partnership with engineering, from ideation through commercializationIdentify opportunities to enhance product functionality, performance (e.g., transfer efficiency, coverage), and cost efficiencyLead cross-functional teams to successfully launch new electrostatic products and enhancementsBuild strong business cases to support investments in manufacturing, technology, and innovationCommercial ExcellenceDevelop and validate compelling value propositions to support pricing strategies and maximize customer valuePartner with sales and marketing teams to create effective tools, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for electrostatic solutionsSupport market introduction activities to ensure successful product adoption and revenue growthOperational & Cross-Functional LeadershipIntegrate product strategies with supply chain logistics, procurement strategies, and manufacturing capabilitiesPartner with procurement to ensure strategic sourcing of electrostatic components, supply continuity, and cost optimizationAlign internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, marketing, and sales to deliver cohesive product strategiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering preferred)5+ years of product management experience, preferably in electrostatics, industrial equipment, or related technologiesStrong understanding of electrostatic principles (e.g., charge generation, transfer efficiency, application systems) is highly desirableExperience with product lifecycle management, Stage Gate processes, and portfolio optimizationProven ability to translate customer insights into successful product strategiesStrong analytical, strategic thinking, and financial acumenExcellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
