About the position

The Global Mobility International Tax Accountant is a strategic partner within the Global Mobility Tax Operations function. This role will provide expert guidance and education to expatriates and business area managers on the corporation’s expatriate tax program, explain tax equalization policies and procedures, resolve cases, and work with the tax assistance firm to complete Tax Equalization Settlements. In addition to operational execution, you will drive process optimization, technology enablement, RPA automation, and data driven decision making to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the expatriate experience. Your responsibilities also include recommending process improvement, automation (RPA), and technology enablement initiatives; maintaining and updating the authorization list for tax services; and ensuring proactive, timely communication of U.S. and foreign tax obligations in line with Lockheed Martin corporate policies. Additionally, you will recommend enhancements to corporate policies (CRX 539D) and international tax procedures to minimize financial and compliance risk, strengthen internal controls and governance, and collaborate with Global Mobility leadership, HRIS, payroll, finance, business areas, and external vendors to optimize system integrations and data flows.
