Global Industrial Engineer

They are seeking a Global Industrial Engineer to support model and capacity studies, optimize labor efforts, and enhance manufacturing processes within their team.ResponsibilitiesSupport forward model and capacity studies for all milestones including Direct Labor and Indirect Labor in all areas (Stamping, Body, Paint, Final, Powertrain)Lead new model labor optimization efforts to achieve labor targets, through benchmarking (internal and external), target setting, tracking process change, and replicate across programsSupport the cycle line layout planning process and virtual build events with future model operator allocations and time studies and work with plants to support physical build events and program launchesMinimize and/or offset labor impacts through labor blitzes, plant tasks/projects, and identifying design/process opportunitiesAssist with operator allocations, cycle line layouts, plant rebalances, line speed changes, time studies, throughput issues, and launch supportAccurately maintain and deliver required IE documentation (Labor Glidepath, Program 1-Pager, Labor by Department, Plant Line speed, APT Assessment, etc.)Develop and document standardization of methods and procedures for the organizationDrive and implement labor efficiency through deployment of global IE process, tools and standardsWork with plants to complete and evaluate time studies using MODAPTS as the measurement tool for work standardsCollaborate and work closely with manufacturing engineering, material handling, ergonomics, and/or plant personnelDomestic Travel Required up to 25%SkillsBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a related field1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation1 year of experience with providing industrial or manufacturing engineering support1 year of experience with verifying direct and indirect labor requirements for new programs by analyzing physical builds using time studies and converting that into operator allocations1 year of experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine direct and indirect labor requirements1 year of experience with performing manufacturing processesBenefitsImmediate medical, dental, and prescription drug coverageFlexible family care, parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and moreVehicle discount program for employees and family members, and management leasesTuition assistanceEstablished and active employee resource groupsPaid time off for individual and team community serviceA generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year's DayPaid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.Company OverviewFord Pro is a productivity accelerator designed to drive the business forward, delivering solutions to commercial customers of all sizes.
