About the role

As a Global HR & Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. You will support the execution of all HR and pay transactions and administration globally, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. You will also be instrumental in implementing HR practices that ensure compliance with labor laws globally, facilitating positive employee relations, and ensuring the integrity of HR data.

What you will be doing:

Payroll Processing and Data/Pay Audits:
• Oversee and manage payroll processing ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees.
• Conduct regular data and pay audits to verify the accuracy and consistency of payroll and HR data.
• Address and resolve discrepancies to maintain payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Manage relationships with the Finance team and external vendors in support of contracting, termination and payroll administration.

HR & HRIS Administration:
• Manage HR transactions and administrative tasks, including pay and benefits administration, regulatory and policy compliance, and employee queries
• Maintain regular input and updates and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all personnel data, including compensation, employment contracts and HRIS data.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
• Define/develop HR practices to ensure compliance with local, regional, and global labor laws.
• Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations and adjust internal practices as necessary to maintain compliance.

Operations Excellence:
• Support ongoing annual events such as compensation and performance review processes and other team activities as needed
• Proactively seek to improve, streamline and automate HR processes within your own work and across the team

About you

In short, we’re looking for an experienced HR Specialist to take ownership of our HR data and payroll processes.
• You have experience running payroll (working with external vendors) and the requirements that come with it (essential) - multi country experience a plus, as we operate in 30+ countries
• You have hands on experience working with HR Systems and streamlining/automating processes
• You are self directed, can prioritise, manage your time and love problem solving
• You are organised, have an eye for detail and don’t let things slip
• You have a bias towards action: you enjoy taking ownership, have a sense of urgency and agree that doing something is better than doing nothing
• You are interested in continual development and learning.There will be opportunities to expand your knowledge of People Ops, Total Rewards and HR more broadly
