Job Type: Contract Job Category: IT Job Description Role- GKE Engineer (Google Kubernetes Engine) Location: Remote (USA) Type: Contract Duration: 6–12 Months Job Summary We are looking for a Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable containerized applications on Google Cloud Platform. Responsibilities Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters in GKE. Implement CI/CD pipelines for microservices deployment. Manage Docker, Helm, Terraform, and IaC workflows. Monitor performance, optimize clusters, and implement autoscaling. Ensure security using IAM, service accounts, network policies, and workload identity. Troubleshoot cluster, service mesh, and networking issues. Required Skills 5–8+ years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience. 2–4+ years of Kubernetes (GKE preferred) experience. Strong experience with Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, Helm. Familiarity with Istio/Anthos (preferred but not required). Strong scripting experience (Python, Bash, Go).
