Position Description:Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) is looking for a highly skilled GIS Analyst to collaborate with the GIS team and other agency staff in developing GIS applications for data collection and visualization. This person will focus on assisting with backlogged projects and building surveys for external community scientists.Responsibilities:Data Management:Clean and maintain spatial and non-spatial data.Set up processes ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.Spatial Analysis:Perform intermediate geospatial analyses and document processes.Map Creation and Visualization:Create detailed maps and data visualizations to support project objectives.Application Development:Develop and maintain Esri applications, configure widgets and tools.Collaboration and Support:Provide training on GIS tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Documentation:Create metadata, document workflows, and develop standard work processes.Requirements:Experience:2+ years as a GIS analyst.Education:Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field (preferred).Technical Skills:Proficiency with Esri's ArcGIS Enterprise Portal and ArcGIS Online systems.Hands-on experience with Web App Builder, Experience Builder, Dashboards, and Survey123.Experience in configuring applications.
