GIS Analyst (ArcGIS Pro / Data QA / Web Maps) – Federal GIS Program
Location: Denver Metro (hybrid) or remote considered Type: Full-time (1,920 hrs/year), multi-year Clearance: Must pass federal background screening; annual security awareness training Overview We are hiring a GIS Analyst to support ongoing mapping, geodatabase updates, QA/QC, metadata, and web map production in an ESRI environment. Responsibilities • Perform GIS analysis, map production, and geodatabase edits (ArcGIS Pro) • Conduct QA/QC on spatial datasets; maintain clean, consistent attributes • Maintain metadata and documentation for datasets and map products • Support web map creation and basic dashboards • Assist with data publishing and standard operating procedures • Provide weekly/monthly metrics inputs and progress updates Required Qualifications (must-have) • 3+ years GIS experience using ArcGIS Pro • Experience editing geodatabases and performing QA/QC • Comfortable with documentation/metadata and repeatable workflows • Strong attention to detail and reliability Preferred • Parcel/land records/cadastral datasets exposure • Some SQL familiarity (reading queries, basic joins) • Prior federal/tribal GIS experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
