Ghostwriter / Series Line Editor – Dark Romantic Suspense (4-Book Series / Continued Collaboration)
I am seeking an experienced ghostwriter with strong line-editing skills to collaborate on a four-book dark romantic suspense series currently in development.

This is intended to be a long-term collaboration. Additional projects are planned beyond this series for the right fit.
Project Overview
Book 1 (Complete – approx. 50,000 words)
Final smoothing pass
Line-level editing for clarity and flow
Emotional refinement
No content insertions unless discussed and approved
Maintain existing voice and structure
Book 2 (Drafted – approx. 50,000 words)
Strengthen dialogue
Expand and refine intimate scenes
Deepen emotional tension
Improve pacing and character dynamics
Books 3 & 4 (In Development)
Ongoing collaboration
Structural feedback
Scene expansion where needed
Dialogue refinement
Tone and tension calibration
Genre Requirements
This is dark romantic suspense. The ideal candidate must be comfortable writing:
Morally complex characters
Possessive/obsessive dynamics
Psychological tension
Explicit intimacy
Emotionally intense themes
This project is not suited for writers who prefer light or sweet romance.
Workflow
Google Docs collaboration required
Use of comments and suggested edits expected
NDA required prior to manuscript access
Milestone-based payments
Clear communication and deadlines are important
