Job Title: Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (K-12)
Location: Remote (Serving K-12 students in Georgia)

About Us:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to join our team. In this role, you will work with K-12 students across Georgia, delivering high-quality instruction and support tailored to their unique needs in a virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Provide engaging, accessible instruction aligned with Georgia state standards and each students learning goals.
Utilize various technologies and resources to enhance virtual teaching and facilitate communication, such as ASL (if applicable), captioning tools, and visual aids.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support student learning and ensure accommodations are effectively implemented.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies to meet their needs.
Advocate for the needs of deaf and hard of hearing students within the school community.
Stay updated on best practices and legal requirements related to special education and deaf education.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Deaf Education or Special Education.
Valid Georgia teaching certification in Deaf Education.
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred but not required.
Experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students, in a K-12 setting.
Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and technology tools for remote teaching.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all students.
