Well-established medical-legal management company with multiple offices located throughout California seeking a skilled attorney familiar with the California Workers Compensation System to assist with Petition Filings, DOR and Hearing Representation.
Our receivables exclusively relate to med-legal QME and AME work, not treatment. We are seeking a top-notch litigator and experienced Attorney with a focus on Workers Compensation. If you're ready to hit the ground running and join a dynamic team, this is the opportunity for you.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in Workers' Compensation.
Qualifications of the Workers' Compensation Attorney:
10+ years of experience in Workers' Compensation law (preferred).
Must be licensed to practice law in California.
Draft legal documents including petitions, motions, and discovery requests.
Attend hearings and depositions before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) and other relevant forums.
Knowledge of WCAB court rules and procedures.
Work productively without needing to be micromanaged.
Prior experience in representing clients before the California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of California is a plus.
