We are seeking a dynamic Gen Z Newsletter & Growth Manager to join our team at Beehiiv. This role involves managing and growing our newsletter audience for a teen podcast, focusing on engaging content and innovative growth strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in newsletter creation and audience growth, particularly within the Gen Z demographic. About Us We run a fast-growing teen/family podcast + YouTube show built around real talk, drama, friendship, and high-energy storytelling. We’re launching our “Backstage” email experience on Beehiiv and want it to become a top-tier teen newsletter fans obsess over. We’re looking for a Newsletter & Audience Growth Manager who lives online, understands Gen Z culture, and wants to own this as their baby long-term. Your Mission Turn our Beehiiv newsletter into the official Backstage of the show with a new drop every week that: Ties directly into that week’s podcast theme Feels fun, juicy, and worth opening Builds a real relationship with our teen audience You are responsible for making this newsletter something fans talk about, screenshot, and share. What You’ll Do Plan & send 1+ Beehiiv email per week tied to each new podcast episode: Recaps, behind-the-scenes tea, polls, confessions, bonus questions, etc. Write Gen Z–friendly subject lines that feel like: Group chat drama “You HAVE to see this” hooks Create simple, scrollable email content teens actually read: 3–5 sections max, lots of white space, fun copy, clear CTAs Build & help design lead magnets: Quizzes (“Which character are you?”, “What’s your drama superpower?”) Backstage sign-up perks (early access, secret clips, vote on topics) Own Beehiiv setup & management: Landing pages & opt-in forms Basic segmentation Welcome sequence / onboarding for new Backstage members Track performance: List growth, open rate, click rate What topics/styles hit best Bring new growth ideas: Referral program, fun rewards, challenges, collabs, etc. Apply tot his job
