About this role
As Tech Lead, you'll spearhead the technical direction of our cloud-native platform, focusing on architecture validation and technical discovery while leading a high-performing engineering team. You'll be responsible for ensuring robust integration patterns, performance optimisation, and technical excellence across our GCP-based infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
⢠Lead architecture validation efforts, ensuring designs meet real-world gateway requirements⢠Drive technical discovery initiatives and integration mapping across multiple protocols⢠Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team⢠Design and validate performance baselines for different message types⢠Oversee configuration analysis and integration pattern development⢠Establish technical standards and best practices for the platform
About You
Weâre looking for passionate technologists who enjoy working in collaborative agile teams. Youâll need to be a clear, concise & engaging communicator with people on your team. We enjoy the big picture and the detail; we want people who excel at both.
⢠Extensive experience with GCP services, particularly GKE, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions⢠Strong background in Java development with additional expertise in Python/Go/TypeScript⢠Deep understanding of NATS and message queue patterns⢠Proven experience in financial services technical leadership⢠Expert knowledge of infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform⢠Track record of successful architecture validation and technical discovery projects
