Gas System Associate Analyst

They are seeking a Gas System Associate Analyst to support gas & electric asset management strategies, maintain GIS data integrity, and assist in emergency efforts. The role involves mapping, data reconciliation, and delivering training to staff. Responsibilities As-built mapping and maintenance of electric, gas, and land GIS facility data in accordance with standards, operating procedures and appropriate state and federal code requirements Reconcile data between GIS and related auxiliary systems Maintain network connectivity of gas and electric distribution systems Prepare various maps, reports and charts using software tools to support staff & field Maintain GIS gas & electric standards and procedures including drawings and diagrams Deliver training to staff and field personnel Promote awareness of GIS and leverage the use of GIS Support gas & electric emergency and storm related efforts Skills Demonstrates fundamental technical knowledge and analytical skills Experience in directly related technical field is beneficial such as gas distribution operations, process control operations, mapping/GPS applications, corrosion prevention operations, gas system control operations and/or gas distribution code compliance Relevant experience is based on the specific role of the position, e.g. Instrumentation and Control, Maps and Records, Corrosion and Standards Associate's degree in related technical field is preferred Benefits Competitive pay and benefits Company Overview Wisconsin Public Service is a regulated electric and natural gas utility delivering safe, reliable energy to nearly 450,000 homes and businesses in northeast and central Wisconsin and an adjacent portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
