Gameplay Engineer

We are currently searching for a Mid-Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and help develop exciting game projects from concept to completion.Key Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and maintain fast-turnaround games using Unity (and optionally HTML5).• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (artists, designers, and other engineers) to create immersive gaming experiences.• Take ownership of game development pipelines, from ideation and vision-setting to release.• Optimize performance and scalability, ensuring smooth user experiences across various devices and platforms.• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical challenges effectively in a fast-paced environment.• Maintain thorough documentation of code, processes, and best practices.• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve game quality and development efficiency.Required Qualifications:• 3–5+ years of professional software engineering or game development experience.• Proficient in Unity 3D, with a strong track record of building successful games or interactive applications.• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).• Ability to develop and maintain features independently—leading a project from concept to final design.• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication.Preferred Qualifications:• Exposure to HTML5 game development.• Experience optimizing graphics and performance on mobile or web platforms.• Strong sense of game design principles and UX considerations.• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.• Passion for games and interactive media.Soft Skills:• Self-starter who can envision and execute on new ideas with minimal oversight.• Effective collaboration and communication skills to work closely with team members of various disciplines.• Organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a time-sensitive environment.• Willingness to learn, adapt, and pitch in on tasks outside of immediate expertise.Series Entertainment embraces diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
