(GA) Graduate Assistant English/Professional & Digital Media Writing (PDMW) 2026 - 2027
Type of Position: Graduate Assistant with the English/Professional & Digital Media Writing department working 20 hours per week/300 hours per semester. Pay Rate: $8.34 per hour All graduate students, regardless of their acceptance or familiarity with the Professional and Digital Media Writing (PDWM) program, are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Develop and implement plans to market, promote, and publicize programs to the campus community; Assist with website development and updating; Assist in faculty-led research and community-partnerships projects, conferences, and publications; Serve as mentor to other graduate students and facilitate contact among students when needed; Attend English Department events (virtual or in-person); Represent ESU at recruitment and information sessions or other meetings when needed; Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with social media accounts; Some graphic design experience. Required qualifications: Experience with Google Suite, InDesign, and/or other design software or platforms; Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication sharp attention to detail; Able to work remotely and meet on Zoom; Intermediate computer and internet skills.
