[Future Opportunities] Research Scientist, Computer Vision

Current and past customers include Apple, Google, Meta, Disney, DreamWorks, Activision, Technicolor, ESPN, LEGO, NASA and many others.THE ROLEAs a key member of our team, you will develop cutting-edge computer vision solutions by formulating and solving numerical optimization problems, designing advanced ML models, and optimizing them for efficient on-device deployment. You'll collaborate with researchers and engineers to prototype new concepts and take ownership of technical challenges to drive innovation in visual computing. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will formulate and solve numerical optimization problems in computer vision and computer graphicsYou will design, develop and train complex machine-learning modelsYou will optimize ML solutions for on-device deploymentYou will collaborate with other researchers and engineers to develop experiments, prototypes, and conceptsTake ownership of technical issues and work to resolve them WHO YOU ARE PhD/MS in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum 5 years experience using Python or C++Experienced with Pytorch/openCV/PILExperience with depth estimation, point cloud processing, and digital geometry processingKnowledge of basic visual signal processing tasks such as classification, segmentation, tracking, denoisingFamiliar with all components in the training of ML model, including data loader, backbone search, choice of regressors/objectives/optimizers, hyperparameter search, model finetune, model quantization/optimization/format conversionBasic knowledge of the ISP pipeline is desirable*Knowledge of image/video/depth data processing is desirable*Self-motivated with strong communication skills and able to work both in a team and independentlyKeen attention to detail with strong organizational and leadership skillsExcellent communication skills to work with multi-functional teams and external partnersProof of eligibility to work in the United States COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The annual compensation includes equity (per qualifications)The annual salary range for this position is $170,000 to $220,000 plus equity (per qualifications)The base pay offered will take into account internal parity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factorsHealth Insurance - Medical, Dental, Vision and Life InsuranceDiscounts on movie tickets, theme parks, hotels, Broadway and Vegas shows, shopping partners & moreFlexible working environment and more!
