Fund Accountant - Transition Team

This role involves supporting the onboarding and historical data migration of new clients, preparing and reconciling financial data, and assisting in the setup of new funds and entities within the company's accounting systems.ResponsibilitiesConvert and reconcile historical accounting data from prior administrators or systemsPerform trial balance, capital account, and transaction reconciliationsSet up and validate fund, entity, and investor information in accounting systemsPrepare supporting schedules and workpapers during the transition processAssist with financial statement tie-outs and partner capital account informationCoordinate with internal teams to resolve reconciliation or reporting issuesMaintain transition checklists and ensure timely completion of deliverablesSkillsBachelor's degree required; degree in Accounting or Finance preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to work with large data setsEffective communication and organizational abilitiesInterest in private-equity fund accounting and accounting systems (Intacct, Investran, Allvue, etc.)BenefitsComprehensive benefits packageCompany OverviewGen II Fund Services provides highly customized, client-centric accounting and administrative services to the private equity industry.
