Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs. This role involves delivering high-quality special education services through a secure online platform, ensuring that all students receive the education they deserve.
Responsibilities:
Ā Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students with disabilities in a virtual classroom setting.
Ā Use a variety of online tools and resources to create engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of each student.
Ā Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and the educational team.
Ā Participate in virtual meetings, staff trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Ā Valid teaching certification in Special Education (Kentucky certification required).
Ā At least 2 years of experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in an online setting.
Ā Strong understanding of IEPs, accommodations, and modifications for students with special needs.
Ā Comfortable with technology and online teaching tools (experience with virtual platforms is a plus).
