We are seeking an experienced Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our innovative team and work for a school district in North Dakota. In this role, you will deliver personalized, high-quality instruction to students with diverse learning needs, all while leveraging technology to create an engaging remote classroom... experience. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Current North Dakota Special Education teaching license or eligibility
Previous experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a virtual setting
Deep understanding of IEP development and implementation
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students in a virtual environment
Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
Create and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the unique needs of each student
Administer virtual classes and one-on-one sessions using digital tools and platforms
Record and assess student progress, adapting instructional methods and materials as necessary
Work with parents, guardians, and other educators to support students' academic and behavioral development
Prepare and uphold accurate records of student progress, IEP goals, and instructional adjustments
Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of IEPs
