Job Description
Position: Virtual Speech and Language Pathologist for 26/27 School Year.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose articulation, expressive/receptive language, and pragmatic disorders through virtual evaluations.
- Develop individualized virtual therapy plans based on students' needs and goals.
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12.
- Conduct online therapy sessions using video conferencing platforms and interactive tools.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, teachers, staff and other professionals to support students' communication skills.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as necessary.
- Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support students' speech and language development.
- Stay updated with research and best practices in virtual speech and language therapy.
Requirements:
- Valid CA state licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
- Proficiency in using virtual learning platforms and video conferencing tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and organizational skills for virtual interactions.
- Ability to provide engaging and effective therapy sessions in a virtual environment.
- Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques applicable to online therapy.
Starting range of pay depending on experience: $75,000-$95,000.
