About the Role
Good Solar Quotes is expanding our remote outreach team and hiring Appointment Setters to speak with U.S. homeowners about lowering their electric bills with solar.
Your role is simple:
Connect → Qualify → Book a consultation
There is no closing and no follow-up.
Once the appointment is set, your job is complete.
This is a structured, performance-based opportunity designed for individuals who communicate clearly, follow a process, and want strong earning potential without long or unpredictable hours.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Calling company-provided leads
• Using a dialer (no manual dialing)
• Following a proven script to qualify homeowners
• Scheduling consultations for solar experienced advisors
• Logging outcomes and moving to the next call
No pipeline management.
No chasing deals.
No sales closing pressure.
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor role with commission-based pay.
• Solar system average commission total: ~$10,000
• Setter compensation: 20%–30% of total profit
• Typical commission per closed deal: ~$2,000–$3,000
• Many setters earn $6,000–$9,000 per month
• Top performers consistently earn $12,000+ per month
Earnings are performance-based and not capped.
Training & Support
We provide the structure and resources needed to succeed:
• One-day onboarding
• Daily team huddles
• Extensive call recordings
• Step-by-step video training
• Proven scripts and systems
