Fully Remote - Immediate interviews for Senior Azure Cloud Engineer - 12 months contract We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with a focus on DevOps automation and Site Reliability Engineering. Qualifications: 12 plus years of cloud infrastructure design/operating experience 3 plus years of recent extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services Experience with hands-on implementation and operational support Proven experience with infrastructure as code solutions Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security principles, and best practices Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation Experience implementing monitoring solutions (AppInsights, Azure Monitor, 3rd-party) Strong problem-solving and communication skills Implementation & Development Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure-specific tools Create and maintain environments from development to production. Implement cloud infrastructure components including VNET, App Services, Function Apps, APIM, & Traffic Manager. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Python scripting Security & Compliance Implement zero-trust security models with least-privilege access, encryption, and threat protection Ensure compliance with security and governance policies Guide compliance efforts with industry standards (SOC 2, NIST) Site Reliability Engineering Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Ne Relic. Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets for critical services. Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability through capacity planning and performance tuning.
