Full-Time School LPN / LVN Shiprock, NM
Blazer Jobs is proud to partner with the local school district in Shiprock, NM, to fill a full-time, onsite Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) opening for the upcoming school year.
Position Details:
• Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
• Location: Onsite in Shiprock, NM
• Contract: School Year (Renewals Based on Performance & District Needs)
• Pay Rate: $32–$37/hour (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first aid and basic health care to students and staff
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Support students with chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, epilepsy)
• Document health office visits, medication logs, and immunization records
• Assist with student health screenings and IEP/504 plan support
• Respond effectively to health emergencies
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals
Minimum Qualifications:
• Current LVN/LPN license in the state of New Mexico or Compact State License
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
• Must pass background check and fingerprint clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with IEPs and individualized student care plans
• Knowledge of school health regulations and FERPA
State Requirements:
• Valid LVN/LPN License in New Mexico or Compact State
• Active CPR/AED Certification
• Background Check & Fingerprinting Clearance
