This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks, in multiple architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Linux administration experience, knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies, works well in a small team setting, has a desire to automate processes where possible, and a willingness to think outside the box to find solutions. Required skills: Experience performing Linux server administration tasks including configuring, patching, monitoring, trouble shooting, etc. Experienced with one or more of the following scripting languages: Python Perl Bash PowerShell Experience with automating repetitive tasks with Bash and Python scripts. Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies. Ability to communicate issues with team members and/or service owners. Work to be performed in Laurel, MD. Desired skills: Experience with Puppet and Ansible Experience with AWS EC2 Auto Scaling Experience with aws-cli and boto3 Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph) Required Qualifications: Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
