About Us (Trades Mosaic):
Trades Mosaic is an acquisition-focused company operating in the construction trades industry (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, etc.). We are scaling rapidly and building a strong Global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team.
Role Overview:
You will be working closely with our CFO and Operations team to handle full-service bookkeeping and financial tasks across multiple business units. This role requires deep knowledge of QuickBooks Online and experience managing accounting functions in a small business environment. Familiarity with Service Titan is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Support CFO with accounting and bookkeeping tasks, providing proactive financial recommendations.
Perform routine and moderately complex accounting functions using QuickBooks Online and integrated tools.
Manage Service Titan financial integrations for multiple entities.
Match invoices with associated documentation for install and service jobs.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts; update AR/AP reports.
Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial statements.
Support payroll and benefits accounting integration when needed.
Prepare and maintain Excel-based management and financial reports.
Assist with other accounting duties as required.
Qualifications:
✅ Minimum 10 years progressive bookkeeping/accounting experience in a small business environment.
✅ Minimum 10 years hands-on expertise with QuickBooks Online.
✅ Tech-savvy (PC/Mac, adaptable to new tools).
Experience in construction trades companies (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, septic, etc.) highly preferred.
Experience with Service Titan & QBO integration highly preferred.
Strong accountability, ownership, and responsiveness.
High integrity and ability to work with confidential financial data.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Positive attitude, professionalism, and eagerness to grow with the business.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive pay commensurate with experience.
Additional acquisition transaction bonuses (up to 20% of annual pay).
Full-time role (40 hours/week), preferably aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
