Cylinder’s vision is to create a world where people receive convenient, personalized, and affordable access to the quality digestive healthcare they need to improve their overall health.Position SummaryAs a Registered Dietitian at Cylinder, you'll deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to members seeking relief from chronic digestive conditions. Through HIPAA-compliant phone and video sessions, you’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) using motivational interviewing, strengths-based care, and behavior change models to support member’s goals.Most members you’ll work with face conditions such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, IBS, short bowel syndrome, diverticulitis, chronic constipation or diarrhea, gastroparesis, food allergies and intolerances, SIBO, and more.Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience and ranges between $32.50-$36 per hour.Responsibilities Include:Deliver individualized MNT, including assessment, nutrition diagnosis, interventions, monitoring, and evaluationSupport members in managing comorbidities, dietary supplements, and probioticsApply evidence-based strategies (e.g. FODMAP diet, elimination diets, mindful eating) to relieve symptoms and improve quality of lifeUse counseling skills (MI, TTM, strengths-based care) to help members move through the stages of changeGuide members in building self-efficacy and advocacy, while providing education, SMART goal-setting, and accountabilityDocument sessions in line with clinical guidelines and company standardsCollaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal, coordinated carePractice in alignment with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations, following our Clinical Pathways and scope of practice, while collaborating with or referring to other disciplines as outlined in our escalation guidelinesMaintain strict confidentiality of members’ Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA and our confidentiality agreementYou’ll be a good here fit if you:Are excited about using technology to transform digestive health care.Excel at building rapport and engaging members through clear, empathetic communication.Have experience integrating behavioral modification strategies into nutrition counseling.Value being part of a supportive, collaborative community of dietitians.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related fieldRegistered dietitian status certified through CDRState licensure (as required)Flexibility to work across multiple time zones, including evenings and weekendsQuiet, professional dedicated workspace with secure high-speed internetPreferred Qualifications1+ year of outpatient dietitian experienceMaster’s degree in Dietetics or Human NutritionNBC-HWC CertificationBilingual (Spanish preferred)Multi-state licensureTraining in MI, SMART goal setting, stages of change assessment
