This role ensures the safety and security of our facilities, assets, and personnel during nighttime hours through surveillance, incident response, and communication coordination.Key Responsibilities:
Control Room Monitoring:
Operate CCTV systems, alarm panels, and access control systems.
Monitor live surveillance footage and respond to any irregularities.
Record incidents accurately in control room logs.
Communication & Incident Response:
Act as the central communication hub during emergencies or security incidents.
Dispatch mobile patrols or emergency services as required.
Maintain clear and accurate radio and phone communication with on-site personnel.
Access Control:
Authorize and document entry/exit of personnel and visitors.
Monitor electronic access control systems for unauthorized activity.
Conduct ID badge checks and enforce security protocols.
Facility Patrol Support:
Assist with remote oversight of patrol patterns and security guard check-ins.
Coordinate with patrol officers to ensure thorough coverage of assigned areas.
Report Writing & Documentation:
Generate nightly activity reports and incident documentation.
Ensure proper handover to the day shift with concise reporting.
Requirements:
Prior experience in a control room or security monitoring role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Comfortable working independently and remaining alert for extended periods.
Proficient with computers and security systems (CCTV, access control software, etc.).
