Middle School Science Teacher Opening – 2025–2026 School Year | Zion, IL
Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to support students in a school district located in Zion, IL.
Position Details:
• Full-time, onsite role
• Classroom-based instruction focused on general science curriculum for grades 6–8
• Caseload information will be provided during the district interview
Requirements:
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Endorsement in Middle Grades Science or Secondary Science
• Must meet all Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and local district credentialing requirements
• Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting per district policy
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience teaching middle school science
• Familiarity with NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards)
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to differentiate instruction
• Proficiency with science lab safety, hands-on learning, and digital learning tools
