Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated Middle School English Language Teacher to support students in a school district located in Zion, IL.
Position Details:
• Full-time, onsite role
• Classroom-based instruction in English Language Development (ELD) for middle school students
• Caseload information will be provided during the district interview
Requirements:
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Endorsement in English as a Second Language (ESL) or English Language Learner (ELL)
• Compliance with all Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and district-specific requirements
• Must pass all required background checks
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience teaching middle school students or working with English learners
• Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
• Familiarity with WIDA standards and ACCESS testing
• Proficiency with instructional technology and blended learning tools
