Elementary Dual Language Teacher Opening – 2025–2026 School Year | Zion, IL

Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated Elementary Dual Language Teacher to support students in a school district located in Zion, IL.

Position Details:
• Full-time, onsite role
• Classroom-based instruction in a dual language (English/Spanish) elementary setting
• Responsible for delivering core content in both languages to support bilingual literacy and academic success
• Caseload information will be provided during the district interview

Requirements:
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) endorsement
• ESL or Dual Language endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
• Must meet all Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and district-specific requirements, including background check and fingerprinting

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior teaching experience in a dual language or bilingual elementary classroom
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills in both English and Spanish
• Familiarity with dual language models, biliteracy development, and culturally responsive teaching practices
• Ability to effectively collaborate with grade-level and bilingual support teams
• Proficiency with instructional technology and blended learning platforms
