**Job Summary:**

As a Full Time Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our organization, responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, operating cash registers efficiently, and maintaining security and control of all funds. You'll also perform duties as a floor monitor, cashier, and bagger when needed, ensuring seamless operations and exceeding customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding expectations and making every shopping visit a pleasant and satisfying experience
* Accurately and efficiently operate cash registers, handling customer transactions, and maintaining security and control of all funds
* Perform duties as a floor monitor, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues
* Assist customers with various services at the customer service counter, providing solutions to their queries and concerns
* Collaborate with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales, participating in required training and initiatives
* Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on promotions, and offering personalized recommendations to customers
* Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, escalating concerns to management when necessary
* Perform cash handling duties, including counting change, making change, and balancing cash registers
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of cleanliness and safety

**Essential Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred
* At least 16 years of age
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
* Ability to write simple correspondence in English
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other associates
* Basic math skills, including the ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and calculate a discount percentage amount
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
* Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment
* Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services, with a passion for staying up-to-date on promotions and initiatives
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Basic computer skills, including the ability to use a point-of-sale system and navigate arenaflex's internal systems
* Certification in customer service or a related field, such as customer service network or safety training
