Role: Full Stack with Spring boot API developer Location: Dallas, TX (Remote) Contract Skillset: • Experienced full stack developer with advanced Java Spring Boot API backend and Codecept/Playwright for AATs • Additionally, knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, Gosu and AWS/ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service) are required Key Responsibilities Backend Development • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. • Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable backend services following microservices and cloud-native best practices. • Ensure API reliability, performance optimization, and proper error handling. • Collaborate with architects and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Frontend Development • Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using JavaScript and Angular. • Integrate frontend components with backend APIs to deliver seamless user experiences. • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to UI/UX standards. Automated Testing & Quality • Build and maintain Automated Acceptance Tests (AATs) using CodeceptJS and Playwright. • Promote test-driven and behavior-driven development practices. • Ensure high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and automated test pipelines. Cloud & DevOps • Deploy and support applications on AWS using ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS). • Work with containerized applications and Kubernetes-based platforms. • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production support. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with product owners, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams. • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and sprint ceremonies. • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers when required.
