Full stack developer (remote or hybrid)
Octagon Professionals is one of the main service providers supporting the European Space Agency, and we are expanding our digital and application support team at ESRIN in Italy. We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer who enjoys building reliable, user friendly web applications in an international, technical environment. In this role, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of progressive web applications, working across the full development lifecycle. You will contribute to both frontend and backend components, integrate cloud services, and automate processes using the Microsoft Power Platform. Develop progressive web applications using Angular and Node.js. Build and automate business processes using Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on Power Apps and Power Automate (Power Pages is an asset). Develop and optimise SQL databases and queries, supporting robust data structures and performance. Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications using Azure services and modern development practices. Participate in testing, documentation, and quality assurance activities to ensure consistent delivery standards. js, Angular Material, Java Script or Type Script, HTML5, and CSS3. ~ Proficiency in SQL and relational database design. ~ Hands on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). ~ Experience with API design and integration. ~ Familiarity with Azure services, deployment, and monitoring. ~ Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience developing applications in technically demanding environments such as aerospace, research, or engineering. Understanding of IT security, data protection, and software lifecycle management. Personal qualities Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality results with minimal supervision. Clear communication and teamwork skills in an international environment.
