Role Overview Our client is seeking an exceptional Senior Full Stack Developer with an impressive early-stage startup track record and entrepreneurial mindset to join their mission of transforming cyber risk from reactive guesswork into predictive, quantified intelligence. You'll architect and build intuitive applications that integrate with our proprietary AI models, creating seamless experiences that help organisations move from asking "Are we secure?" to "What's our financial and regulatory exposure, and how do we optimise it?" The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development and hands-on experience with React, Python, AWS cloud services, including integration with AI/ML and other advanced components via secure APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust AI-based applications and cloud-based data products that help address the key security and regulatory compliance needs of our customers and drive business growth. This is initially an equity-only, 100% remote, part-time role (8-10 hours, flexible), and you'll be joining a high-performing international team. Responsibilities: • Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs and microservices powered by AI/ML models using modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools for both frontend and backend development. • AWS Cloud Services: Utilise AWS cloud services and infrastructure to build scalable, reliable, and secure applications, deploy AI/ML models, build RAG or other ML pipelines to integrate software applications with our AI/ML models, and optimise performance and cost-efficiency. • Database Management: Design and implement database schemas, queries, and optimisations for efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation for powering the data-driven analytics dashboards and AI/ML models, including RAG or other ML pipelines. • Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of applications powered by AI/ML models, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards. • Performance Monitoring and Optimisation: Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimisations to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency. • Documentation and Collaboration: Document code, APIs, and technical specifications, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience. • Minimum 5 years' experience in full-stack development and integration with AI/ML models. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar. • Experience with web technologies such as RESTful APIs and frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, NexJS, Angular, Vue.js, or similar. • Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks. • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SageMaker, Bedrock, RDS/Postgres, Eventbridge, CloudWatch and others. • Experience with AI/ML Integration, RAG pipelines, deploying and running AI/ML models. • Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development best practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Preferred Qualifications: • AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. • Experience with serverless computing and containerization technologies, such as AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar. • Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems. • Experience with version control systems such as Git. • Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends.
