Job description: A multi-company contractor in Spokane Valley is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant.
The position entails managing the day-to-day and monthly accounting along side the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in bookkeeping and working knowledge of Quickbooks. We are looking for an individual who will bring value to the company through their passion for the trade, and ability to think critically. This individual must understand balance sheets and income statements, be trustworthy and a team player.
Duties and Responsibilities, but are not limited to:
Full Charge bookkeeping
Bookkeeping for multiple entities
Month-end, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports
Able to research discrepancies, identify and solve problems
Analyze and create sales and other financial reports
Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements
Data entry
Miscellaneous office tasks and special projects
Requirements:
Minimum five years experience in bookkeeping
Attention to detail is required
Basic tax prep experience
Strong ability to multitask
Capacity to work well under pressure
Ability to anticipate problems and problem solve
Organized, efficient, self-motivated, proactive
