Job requirements
5+ years of proven experience in developing mobile applications using React Native. 5+ years of strong proficiency in React for web development.Solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.Familiarity with web and mobile development best practices and design patterns.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Understanding of mobile deployment processes for iOS and Android.Strong interest in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Job responsibilities
Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and web applications using React.Design and implement new features and functionality for VALR's mobile and web platforms.Integrate with backend REST APIs and WebSockets to ensure seamless data flow.Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional mobile and web experiences.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices.Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.Troubleshoot and debug issues across mobile and web platforms.Participate in any team-specific development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile and web development, particularly within the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. Ensure the performance, security, and stability of mobile and web applications.Participate in an on-call rotation as needed to support 24/7 operations.
