Job Description for Front Door Host: Our franchise organization, John Gomez Enterprises, LLC dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!Entering and leaving Golden Corral are two of the most critical moments in the guest's experience because lasting impressions are formed during these moments. The Front Door Host's interactions with our guests and these impressions ultimately dictate whether the guest will return. Guest Service: • Greets customers as they enter the restaurant, ensuring a personal touch, and extends an invitation to return upon their exit. • Offers aid to visitors who may require help during their visit. • Ensures the smooth processing of GC To Go orders. • Affable and polite while conversing on the phone. • Handles payments accurately. • Grasps and conforms to role responsibilities in relation to just-in-time delivery. • Familiar with the daily buffet selection and knowledgeable about the menu items and their costs. Cleanliness: • Ensures the vestibule, host/cashier station, and surrounding spaces are clean and orderly. • Support is necessary to ensure the buffet is correctly arranged and the labels are accurate, along with the task of cleaning all the buffet stations and their surrounding areas. • Adheres to the ordinances set by the neighborhood health department. • Supervises duty roster implementation to fulfill cleanliness, service, and quality requirements. Operational Excellence: • Informs the supervisor of the importance of transferring funds from the cash drawer to the secure safe to minimize the risk of theft. • Confirms that the amount recorded in the daily paperwork matches the actual balance in the drawer.
