*Job Description:**
As a Front Desk Clerk at Sunset Hotel & Suites, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in shaping their overall experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, answering phones, and addressing guests needs with a professional demeanor.
*Responsibilities:**
Warmly greet guests upon their arrival and check them into the hotel efficiently.
Manage online and phone reservations and maintain organized records of all guests bookings.
Handle guest check-outs and ensure billing is processed accurately.
Provide information regarding hotel services, facilities, and other amenities.
Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally, redirecting calls as necessary.
Resolve guest issues with empathy and efficiency, escalating more complex issues to management.
Maintain a clean and tidy front desk area to uphold the brands standard of excellence.
Assist in handling and coordinating transportation requests for guests.
Ensure compliance with all hotel security procedures and policies.
*Requirements:**
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to operate basic office equipment and familiarity with reservation management software is a plus.
Must be able to work evening shifts and have flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
*Restrictions:**
Must be able to remain stationary at the front desk for extended periods.
Must be able to work legally in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
*Education & Experience:**
High school diploma is required.
Previous experience in a hotel or similar role is highly preferred.
