Job Summary:
Marriott International, a world-renowned hospitality company, is searching for a diligent Front Desk Clerk to fill a part-time role in our Seattle location. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a passion for serving others, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an hourly wage, health and dental benefits, paid training, and paid vacation time.
Job Description:
As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and manage all aspects of their accommodation. You will welcome guests to our hotel, manage reservations, provide information about rooms, rates and amenities, and provide excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
– Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
– Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
– Manage online and phone reservations
– Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
– Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
– Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Front Desk Clerk or relevant position
– Familiarity with hotel reservations software
– Knowledge of customer service, clerical procedures, and administrative tasks
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Educational Qualification:
– High School diploma or equivalent; degree in hotel management or relevant field will be a plus
Experience:
Previous customer service experience or relevant hotel experience is highly desired.
