Manage and oversee the tender management process for Trimble's clients, ensuring timely and efficient execution of all tender activities. Utilize your expertise in the French market to optimize freight procurement processes and negotiate favorable rates and contracts for our clients. Conduct thorough analysis of transportation data and market trends to inform procurement decisions and strategies. Collaborate with various internal departments, including sales and operations, to ensure alignment and successful execution of procurement strategies. Maintain strong relationships with carriers and other vendors, negotiating rates and contracts to achieve cost savings for Trimble's clients. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all procurement activities are in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Act as a subject matter expert for freight procurement, providing guidance and support to internal teams and clients. Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities, and make adjustments as needed to meet or exceed targets. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings, and implement new strategies and procedures as necessary. Actively participate in industry events and conferences to stay informed on the latest trends and developments in transportation and procurement. Mentor and train junior procurement team members, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
