The Details: • 6 months with a possible extension • Payrate: $19.00 per hour • Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week (standard work week - 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm) • Potential to work from home on Fridays after training What You'll Do: As a Freight Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of our freight operations. Your responsibilities will include: • Processing, auditing, validating, and vouchering payments for all bills and expenses related to transportation, warehousing, drayage, and cartage of products. • Accurately inputting and maintaining database entries in applications software for payment processes. • Assisting with various related activities, such as handling documents and information related to freight and warehouse bills. What You'll Bring: We are looking for someone who is a team player, has a strong work ethic, and possesses the following qualifications: • High school education or equivalent. • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, including Microsoft Word and Excel. • Ability to accurately enter data at a rate of 6,000 KPH. • Ability to use custom computer programs. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to independently initiate appropriate action. • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
