Freelance Synopsis Copywriter & Editor (Entertainment)

We're a marketing localization agency, based in Denver, CO & London, UK, who helps global streaming brands reach and inspire users wherever they are in the world. THE ROLE We are seeking a skilled copywriter / editor to craft and refine synopses for one of the world’s largest streaming platforms. • Copywriting: Writing 150–250 character synopses. • Pay: Varies per synopsis type (Avg. ~$34/hr). • Editing: Refining synopses written by other freelancers to ensure flow and impact. • Pay: $1.50 – $2.00 per synopsis (Estimated <5 mins per task). WORKLOAD • Hours: 10–30 hours per week. • Duration: Ongoing. We have a steady volume of work and are looking for a reliable and dedicated freelancer for the long term. REQUIREMENTS • Native English speaker • 5 years of professional copywriting and editing experience • Strong attention to detail • Able to respond quickly to feedback • Can provide a portfolio or samples of your work PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience writing synopses of shows or movies. • Comfortable working on JIRA, an asset management tool. • Preference to those who live in Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
