Freelance Networking Corporate Trainer

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Contractual Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Networking Trainer to deliver training programs on networking concepts and technologies. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in networking fundamentals, hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, and a passion for teaching and mentoring. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct Training Sessions: Deliver in-person and/or online training sessions on networking topics, including network design, implementation, security, troubleshooting, and emerging technologies. • Curriculum Development: Develop and update training materials, course outlines, and practical labs in alignment with current industry standards and certifications. • Hands-On Labs: Guide trainees in hands-on lab exercises, real-world scenarios, and case studies to strengthen their practical knowledge. • Evaluation: Assess trainees through assignments, projects, and tests; provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in networking and incorporate them into the training programs. • Mentorship: Offer one-on-one guidance and support to trainees to help them achieve their learning goals and career aspirations. • Collaboration: Work closely with the training team to organize sessions, improve training effectiveness, and support business objectives. Skills and Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are highly preferred. • Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in networking or a related field, with at least 1-2 years in a training or mentoring role. • Technical Skills: • Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies. • Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. • Knowledge of cloud networking and SDN (Software Defined Networking) is a plus. • Teaching Skills: Strong ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate effectively to diverse audiences. • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire and engage trainees. • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to different teaching modes (in-person, virtual) and travel if required.
