Freelance Lesson Plan Creator (English Lessons for Teens, 1-on-1 Online)

We are seeking a creative and experienced educator to design engaging, ready-to-teach lesson plans for teenage Dutch students learning English in a 1-to-1, online setting. The ideal candidate understands how to make grammar and vocabulary lessons both clear and enjoyable. You’ll create materials that are interactive, age-appropriate, and easy for a teacher to deliver, helping students feel confident and motivated during lessons. What you’ll do Create complete lesson plans (45–60 minutes each) on the given grammar point or vocabulary topic. Include a clear structure with: - Step-by-step explanation with scaffolding - Guided practice - A fun, interactive game or speaking activity for the teacher and student to play together. Ultimate tic-tac-toe (with grammar prompts) is one of our students' favourites, but we encourage you to come up with your own creative games and interactive ideas! - Ensure all materials are designed for online 1-on-1 teaching (no videos, or songs) You will be provided with an example lesson upon hiring. What we’re looking for: - Strong grasp of English grammar and language acquisition principles - Experience creating materials for teen learners (ages 12–18) - Ability to design lessons that are bright, modern, and engaging (but not childish) - Creativity and playfulness in developing interactive teacher–student activities and games suitable for Zoom.
