Freelance Bookkeeper - Saas | Contractor (1099)
About the position Our client, a fast-growing software company, is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to support its SaaS business. This is a part-time contract (1099) role with flexible hours, to 16 hours per week. The contractor must be able to work within U.S. time zones and collaborate during Central or Eastern Time. Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including monthly close and reconciliations • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes • Assist with subscription and SaaS revenue tracking • Prepare financial reports and cash flow summaries • Maintain organized documentation and ensure accuracy across accounts • Collaborate with our internal team and external accountant(s) • Help improve workflows, systems, and automation where possible Requirements • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in the SaaS industry (required) • Deep knowledge of SaaS financial models and terminology • QuickBooks expertise (required) • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Comfortable communicating proactively and independently in a remote environment • Ability to meet deadlines and protect confidentiality • Must be located and available to work within U.S. time zones Nice-to-haves • Experience using Ramp or similar bill pay platforms (preferred) Apply tot his job
