KSL is hiring for a Fraud Analyst I, where you will be instrumental in protecting our platform and users from fraudulent activity by identifying, investigating, and preventing various types of fraud. Responsibilities Monitor and analyze data to identify suspicious patterns, trends, and anomalies indicative of fraudulent activity Investigate potentially fraudulent network traffic, accounts, transactions, and user behavior using a range of tools and techniques Collaborate with other teams, including customer support, engineering, and legal, to resolve fraud incidents and implement preventative measures Develop and maintain fraud detection rules and strategies to proactively identify and mitigate risks Stay up to date on the latest fraud trends, techniques, and industry best practices Prepare reports and presentations summarizing fraud trends, investigation findings, and key performance indicators (KPIs) Contribute to the development and improvement of fraud prevention policies and procedures Assist in the implementation and testing of new fraud detection tools and technologies Provide support to other team members on fraud-related matters Skills Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience Log analysis Understanding of TCP/IP networking Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and anomalies in large datasets Excellent research and investigation skills with attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of online marketplace dynamics and fraud trends is a plus Experience with fraud detection systems and tools is a plus Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements is a plus Company Overview Deseret Digital Media is a media and online services company.
