As the enterprise seeks pre-seed funding, there is an exciting opportunity for a marketing leader with a strong foundation in direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce and a passion for modern eyewear brands. This role is crucial to align the company's brand direction and enhance investor communications, cementing its vision and strategy.
Responsibilities
• Define and own the company’s growth strategy in alignment with founder vision and capital constraints
• Architect revenue model, CAC assumptions, and scalable acquisition framework
• Design end-to-end funnel strategy (waitlist → deposit → preorder → repeat purchase)
• Develop channel strategy and experimentation roadmap across paid and performance channels
• Oversee external agency execution and enforce disciplined budget allocation
• Establish reporting cadence, performance dashboards, and concise investor-ready summaries
Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience scaling a venture-backed consumer hardware or high-AOV DTC brand from early revenue to meaningful scale.
• Direct ownership of CAC modeling, unit economics, and performance channel strategy
• Experience designing and optimizing full-funnel acquisition systems (lead capture → conversion → retention)
• Proven ability to allocate and scale paid acquisition budgets within gross margin constraints
• Experience managing preorder or inventory-sensitive product launches
• Track record of reporting growth metrics and forecasts to executive leadership or investors
