We are seeking a CPA/Accountant who can support financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio reporting. Role Overview You will help UB9 evaluate acquisition targets, prepare financial reports, and build models for multi-industry investments. This is a fractional/contract role with room to grow. Responsibilities Review financial statements from potential acquisition targets. Build profit/loss models, cash-flow projections, and valuation summaries. Identify risks, irregularities, and opportunities for performance improvement. Assist with tax considerations, entity structure, and financial compliance. Support the Founder in developing portfolio-wide financial dashboards. Ideal Candidate Licensed CPA or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of small-business accounting, M&A financials, and multi-sector environments. Comfortable analyzing service-based, product-based, and real estate businesses. Experience preparing financial models and investor-ready reporting. Reliable, clear communicator, and proactive collaborator. Compensation Per-project or part-time retainer. This is an excellent role for someone with private-equity, search-fund, venture-studio, or M&A background who enjoys wearing many hats. Responsibilities Conduct financial due diligence on acquisition targets. Build valuation models (DCF, comps, multiples). Evaluate business systems, customer concentration, operational risks. Prepare investment memos and acquisition summaries. Assist in sourcing companies from brokers, marketplaces, and direct outreach. Support the Founder and Attorney during negotiation phases. Ideal Candidate 3–7+ years in M&A, private equity, consulting, or investment banking. Strong Excel, modeling, and valuation skills. Ability to assess multiple industries quickly.
